Tata Harrier SUV variants are broadly divided into six variants: XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+.

Launch

Tata Motors launched the Harrier in India in January 2019. Initially introduced with a diesel engine and manual transmission, an automatic transmission was introduced by the automaker in February 2020. It has a 2.0 liter Kryotec diesel engine. It combines a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT. There's no AWD version, but the Harrier has a special ESP system that lets you choose modes for different conditions: normal, wet and rough.

The Harrier is 4,598mm long, 1,714mm high, 1,894mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2,741mm.

EXTERIOR AND DESIGN

New Jeep Compass Summary

Launch:

FCA India has launched the latest Compass for the Indian market. The exterior has been subtly improved, the cabin has been completely redesigned, and numerous new features have been added. India will also be the first right-handed market to receive the 2021 Compass, acting as a manufacturing hub for all right-handed markets.

Engine and Transmission:

The Compass has been around for three years and this is Jeep's first major update to the midsize SUV. It features a distinctive seven-box front grille with chrome inserts and sophisticated LED headlights with integrated LED DRL. The bumper has also been modified, adding a black horizontal air intake in the center and LED fog lamps on the sides. The 18-inch aluminum wheels are also newly designed, adopting a five-spoke two-tone design.

Inside, a floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with FCA's latest Uconnect 5 is part of the party, perched above climate control vents.
There's also a fully digital 10.2-inch instrument cluster and a new three-spoke leather steering wheel. Other cabin additions include wireless smartphone charging, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, power tailgate, cruise control, 8-way power front seats and memory function on the driver's side.

MG Hector Summary

The MG Hector facelift has been launched in India with prices starting at INR 12.9 crore (all over India, excluding showrooms). This is the first major update of the Hector SUV, launched in India in June 2019. This model comes in his four variants: Style, Super, Smart and Sharp.

2021 MG Hector Facelift's engine options include the same 1.5 liter petrol engine, 1.5 liter petrol hybrid and 2.0 liter diesel engine. A 6-speed manual is standard, but the DCT and CVT units are for petrol grinders only.
